JINDALEE BOWLS CLUB HELPS INALA YOUTH SERVICES

Accepting an $850 cheque

Jindalee Bowls Club held the MAXIMA Cup on Saturday 29th May to help raise funds for the Inala Youth Service. Early intervention is an effective, proactive approach to mitigating antisocial behavior in the community. The staff at the Hut are able to identify the needs of young people and offer them access to additional programs that could help them. A raffle donation of $850 was accepted by Vice President – Michael Robinson.

16 Teams of bowlers from Jindalee and the surrounding area, competed all day in 3 rounds of bowls to raise the funds. We would like the thank MAXIMA DISABILITY EMPLOYMENT and PREMIER FUNERALS for being our generous sponsors for this important cause. We would also like to thank the club and sponsor volunteers who worked hard behind the scenes to make the day a success, and a special thank you to Brian Hampson who organised the event.
